Italian 2 is aimed at more advanced learners than Italian 1.
We usually start our sessions with some Italian conversation which is sometimes followed by a specially prepared topic or grammar session with exercises. We often use News in Slow Italian, a subscription service on the web. We also enjoy many YouTube videos which are excellent. We sometimes use Colloquial Italian 2 and Read and Think in Italian.
A native Italian speaker, but not teacher, joins the Group to lend a hand. We met on Zoom all through the lockdown, which worked really well and kept us motivated and together. Now we have resumed meeting in each others homes and a cup of tea and cake is always served.
